Making Contact

Your courage to make contact is met by my empathy, and commitment to alleviate your symptoms. Let’s talk over the phone to book your first appointment.

First Session

We gather information, explore your awareness of your challenges, and experience what it is like working together.

Continuing Process

My Services Available To You

My intention is to support you through your tricky life events causing you some psychological distress, discomfort or confusion. To support you to alleviate your suffering by facilitating your self discoveries and growth

1-1 Adult Therapy Sessions

I have available appointments for online and face to face therapy sessions

Currently I am offering sessions Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday’s. I have attained the required 80 hours training in online and telephone counselling to work competently and ethically in this area of support services. 

Compassion Focused Therapy

During the therapy process we explore your current understanding of what compassion means to you and how you offer it to yourself and others. Together we work on developing three ways of experiencing compassion and how different versions of you impact on your communication and interactions.

Student Mentorship

It can be a short-term or long-term process of support depending on your individual requirements. An action plan will be tailored to meet each students’ individual needs.

Nature Therapy Sessions

Green space is good for your mind and body, scientific studies have proven light, physical movement and stimulus from nature bring even more benefits to our wellbeing.

Nature therapy sessions will go ahead with both yourself and my agreement on the day of agreed appointment weather permitting for safety or face to face appointments will go ahead indoors instead

Maggie Murray Counselling

 I’m an accredited and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Reg MBACP (accred)

I work from a pluralistic perspective and I’m currently training in Compassion Focused Therapy as part of my continued professional development.

My intention throughout the therapeutic relationship with you is to establish and maintain trust, mutual respect, and integrity.
