First Session

My intention is to support you through your tricky life events causing you some psychological distress, discomfort or confusion. To support you to alleviate your suffering by facilitating your self discoveries and growth

1-1 Adult Therapy Sessions

I am currently offering face to face appointments on Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays, and Thursday afternoons

I am offering online appointments on Monday afternoons, Tuesday afternoons, and Fridays

Compassion Focused Therapy

During the therapy process we explore your current understanding of what compassion means to you and how you offer it to yourself and others. Together we work on developing three ways of experiencing compassion and how different versions of you impact on your communication and interactions.

About me

Maggie Murray Counselling and Psychotherapy

I’m an accredited and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Reg MBACP (accred)

I work from a pluralistic perspective and I’m currently training in Compassion Focused Therapy as part of my continued professional development.

My intention throughout the therapeutic relationship with you is to establish and maintain trust, mutual respect, and integrity.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

I have completed my supervision course through the Counselling Tutor. This is a level 6 Clinical Supervision qualification which meets the BACP standards for working face to face, online and telephone supervision. I am able to support students in their placements and qualified counsellors/psychotherapists. My focus is using the 7 eyed model of supervision along with my compassionate approach to offer a supportive and relational therapeutic alliance.

My fee is £60.00 for 1.5 hours of clinical supervision for qualified counsellors/psychotherapists
Reduced fee of £50.00 for 1.5 hours of clinical supervision for trainee counsellors/psychotherapists
